Now for our March challenge!
We are marching right toward the deadline for Father’s Day cards (April 30). Link up a Fathers Day or masculine card right here before April 2 to get in on the drawing for TWO generous $25 gift certificates! Thanks, ODBD!!
Bonus prize for our heroes:
Our Daily Bread Designs will be making a shipping donation based on the number of cards in the InLinkz (only one entry per person!) – ODBD will sponsor one large box of cards for every 25 cards linked to the challenge post, with a maximum of 2 boxes per month. So be sure to tell all your friends to come and enter the challenge too!
Here’s this month’s inspiration from the ODBD gallery.
Check out the piercing and twill ribbon. Please keep your OWH cards sized for A2 envelopes though.
If they are square they will need to be 4.25″x4/25″.
Nice texture and terrific brad/ribbon embellishment on this one.
 Stunningly beautiful sidestep.
Notice the use of stitching and the interesting way she added the brad.
Wow! Some terrific inspiration! Can’t wait to see what you make this month. Be sure to spread the word so we can earn some shipping for our heroes!

The box of cookies and cards was a surprise

Ma’am:
I BIG thank you from the Office of Security Cooperation-Iraq, Army Aviation section here in Baghdad, Iraq for the Valentine’s Day cookies and cards! The box of cookies and cards was a surprise and we were all grateful to OWH for coordinating for the treats along with the Valentine’s Day card. Please tell all who volunteered to may this shipment special that we truly appreciate their efforts.  The extra mile they went for us to make this happen is very much appreciated.

Keep in touch personally

I’m currently serving in Afghanistan. I wanted to e-mail you and thank you so very much for the beautiful cards your service provides for me to keep in touch personally with my family. Along with the free mail service here I’m able to send my son a letter every day. Although I have e-mail, I think a personal card means so much more. Again, thank you.
With Respect,
A.H.

A big hit in the office

Sandy,
Thank you so much for the cards, they were a big hit in the office. I am going to be leaving here in April however there will be people running this shop down here if you want to continue to send cards.

Again thank you for sending them. The Christmas ones went really fast, and the valentines were just as big of a hit.

I am sure you guys want to hear good news about what’s going on down here. Things are going really good for the most part. There is a constant change in personnel for the Air Force. We only get sent for 6 months for the most part so that really helps. I know as a 20 year old here, I have learned a lot by just coming here.

Thank you for all the support that you guys provide. It really does help us!

From all of us, thanks!
Airman T.E.
