Our team finished their work today at CHA…..job WELL DONE! At the very very very end we surpassed our goal thanks to card samples and more donated by booths around the tradeshow:
I finally had a chance to visit our friends at Uniformed Scrapbooks of America – Heather and her hero hubby Chip are so excited about a coming partnership opportunity with OWH…stay tuned on Armed Forces Day for a FUN celebration of our military! (PS Congrats to these two on their new little baby, too!)
OWH dropped off collection boxes in different sections of the tradeshow floor, and asked the booths in the area if they’d donate their sample cards; so of course Hero Arts was one of our drop points!
Our friends at The Greeting Farm donated some goodies for our cruisers, so of course we had to stop in for a photo op – and a few happy tears with Jessica. It’s always a blessing to meet people with family members in the service! We presented these certificates to many of our partners around the tradeshow.
I made some new friends at Art Impressions – those who love funny stamps and sentiments are going to love these! Bonnie and her husband are terrific folks and can’t wait to work with OWHers…so stay tuned in coming weeks for some fun. I was treated to a stamp I was drooling over…after thinking I had ENOUGH of the owl craze, this one just made me want to squeeeeeeze him! (It’s nice to get back to having a few minutes to spend coloring again!)
|And no, my paper isn’t yellowed, it’s crazy hotel lighting!|
Travel to the east coast is next, and then getting on board that cruise ship on Saturday with our OWHers – I can’t tell you how excited I am! We’ll have limited net access, but I’ll see what I post to help you keep up with our shenanigans…..it’s going to be a blast! 🙂
West coasters: Keep those cards and letters coming while I’m gone! My housesitter will be bringing in the mail, and I need to get a whole bunch of boxes in the mail right when I get back.
Midwesterners: Ditto for Kris, except her housesitter is hubs!
East coasters: Business as usual for Caro! Keep her busy and out of trouble while I’m gone 🙂
